The Mammoth Book of Wolf Men

My client was reissuing their werewolf anthology, and wanted photo-real artwork similar in style to that of the 2010 Wolf Man movie.

So, taking a stock photo of a normal human face and another for the body, I used wolf and other animal images to build up the hair, fur and teeth etc. As the wolfman is generally depicted as being more humanoid, with a flatter face than a typical werewolf or lycan, I found that source images of apes and even lions worked more effectively than those of wolves.
